Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind
-- Mark Twain
Just a note to say don't forget to spread a little kindness. A trip to Walmart and week with its ups and downs makes me thankful for the kindness that is shown to me daily.
On a happier note, our black mutt, Nadia returned home from her trip to the vet, and is now puppy free for life. I am thinking that she has caught on that the vet is not her favorite place to go. The fact that she peed all over the floor of the clinic when she saw I was there to pick her up makes me think that she was glad to leave. She is now at home enjoying the luxuries of the Swanson house including ice cubes from our new fridge.
I have realized now that I have officially turned the corner to true "adulthood". When you prefer household appliances instead of gifts for just you on your birthday, you are old. I think I am starting to cope with the fact that I am now closer to 30 than to 20. I hope I start getting wiser soon. (I promise I will post a picture soon of our new "addition" - the fridge) Norse keeps telling me that since 40 is the new 30 then technically I am only 16.
The Camp bell has been rung, and I need to get back to work before my swim date with a handsome fellow named Norse. I am hoping something exciting will happen this weekend so I can wow you on Monday with the best blog entry ever! Here's hoping you have a great weekend too!
